This year, the Toyota Dream Car Japan team has decided to award the most popular artwork at the Global Award Ceremony.
As communicated before, Sri Lanka produced one global winner at this years contest and his artwork will be there as well.

It is with the greatest pleasure that we inform you all that Toyota Lanka has produced a Global Winner for the 4th consecutive time at the 10th Toyota Dream Car Art Contest.
Each year a total of approximately 740 artworks from 80+ countries are entered to the Global Toyota Dream Car Contest and the best 30 are selected. It is with the greatest happiness that we announce that one of our Sri Lankan artworks named “Blood Making and Donating Car drawn by Nandun Wijeratne has been chosen to this best thirty artwork.
Nadun, along with his parents will be attending the Global Award Ceremony in August 2016 to be held in Japan where the final places of the winners will be announced.
The National Award Ceremony 2016 of the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been scheduled to take place. Following are the details.
Date : 2nd of April 2016
Venue : Toyota Lanka (Pvt) Limited, Wattala
Time : 10.00am onwards

With the completion of the 1st round of Judging for the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest 2016, Toyota Lanka proudly exhibits the best 90 artworks of this years’ competition.
Date : 7th and 8th of March 2016
Venue : Royal Nelung Art Centre, Hyde Park Corner, Colombo 02.
Time : 9.00am – 5.00pm
Receiving an awe-inspiring number of artwork for the 2016 contest, after an arduous first round of Judging, the best 90 artworks(30 per age category) has been selected. These artwork will once again be subjected to a second round of Judging while the exhibition takes place and the top 60 artworks will be selected.
This is the 2nd successive exhibition that we are holding this year. The main purpose of this exhibition is to enlighten the general public and the regular participants of this contest on the level of standard and conceptualization that we expect from the children and inspire them to explore the depths of their creativity and imagination.
Come witness the breathtaking concepts and ideas of the future generation of Sri Lanka and be amazed at how advanced and concerned they are about the well being of the world we live in!
